Here for the first time ever, is a comprehensive photographic chronicle devoted to surviving Crimean War artefacts of the
period 1854 to 1856. It is illustrated brilliantly with colour photographs, many of which have not been previously published, to include bearskins, bonnets, helmets, coatees, breastplates, leathers, swords, long arms, and exotic personal items of both officers and other ranks. Among the forty-two regiments represented in this collection of artefacts are the Guards Brigade, Rifle Brigade, Household Cavalry, Dragoons, Hussars, Lancers, Royal Welsh Fusiliers, Green Howards, Black Watch, and numerous other splendid regiments. Two friends, Michael Vice and B.J. Small, joined him on this project, which was five years in the making.
